Our sister association, Morocco’s Bayt Mal Al Qods Foundation distributed vital humanitarian aid to Palestinians in Jerusalem on Thursday, at the Red Crescent hospital in the city.

The foundation said in a statement that they distributed “significant amounts” of food aid, as well as medical equipment towards health facilities in the city.

Two Moroccan military aircraft also landed at Egypt’s El-Arish airport on Wednesday with vital humanitarian aid for Palestine, which was handed over to the Egyptian Red Crescent to be distributed in Gaza, the statement added.

The aid for Gaza includes food items, medical supplies and water.

Since 7 October, Israel has been conducting increasingly intense operations in Gaza and the West Bank, including airstrikes and a recent ground incursion into the besieged strip.

So far, the attacks have killed more than 7,000 Palestinians, including nearly 3,000 children.

Israel has also cut off access to essential services such as water, electricity and fuel for the Palestinian region, threatening to worsen an already dire humanitarian situation.

Hospitals run on generators, which are increasingly in danger of failing as fuel supplies run out.
